Pretty Gritty Video Tour

Watch this comprehensive tour by Pretty Gritty Tours.

This stunning part of the Tacoma skyline was built in 1893 and served as the city hall until the 1950s. Since then it has gone through long periods of lying dormant. Currently it is an empty shell holding only a few remnants of the glory days. The bell-tower still contains the original bells, the former jails cells still linger in the basement and clues are scattered throughout of what once went on inside. The team behind Surge Tacoma is in the process of restoring Old City Hall and bringing it back to the community again.
