COMMUNITY HIGHLIGHT: Krystina Jarvis
Meet Krystina Jarvis, founder and CEO of A Drop in The Ocean Shop.
A local, zero-waste and sustainable living boutique dedicated to giving back to the environment and the community. With a mission to use business as a driving force for change, Krystina aims to make sustainable living accessible to all, and to use resources to support on-the-ground efforts that further enhance her vision for a sustainable future. Each purchase plants ten trees, and at least one percent of annual sales are donated to ocean conservation. Shopping with her supports small businesses, minority- and women-owned businesses, and layers of dedication to protecting this big blue marble we call home.
When asked what fills her with pride, Krystina shares excitedly with us how proud she feels to be celebrating the shop’s 4th anniversary. Krystina reminds us that sometimes all you need is fiery passion, deep love for your community and a willingness to go for it. We love Krystina’s mission and celebrate with her A Drop in The Ocean turning 4!
