Surge Institute: Kristine Part 1
Surge Institute is a manifestation of our commitment to supporting Tacoma’s entrepreneurs of all ages.
We have a lot of support to offer the entrepreneurial community of Tacoma; from financial assistance to ongoing education and mentorship. Starting a business is hard work and can often be a lonely endeavor. There are simply not enough programs in place that prioritize imparting valuable knowledge and skills on young entrepreneurs, which is why Surge Institute has created programming for high school students. We believe that we practice the skills that we learn early, so it’s integral to help young people before they dive into the world of business ownership.
Kristine helps guide our efforts and offers huge support for our cohorts of young entrepreneurs. As a team, we have many years of experience building, running, and scaling businesses, and we want to use this expertise to boost Tacoma’s new class of dreamers. We prioritize business concepts that provide jobs for Tacomans and bring necessary services and products to the area.
